Beginners Taster classes starting in Trinity Term 2014

Every Trinity Term here at the Language Centre, we endeavour to put on several Taster courses at Beginner level to accommodate applicants who are still on waiting lists from earlier in the term, those who had timetable clashes, and people who simply had too much on! We know how many different things there are competing for your time, and we still really want to give you the opportunity to learn a new language during your time here.

So, the classes that we are able to offer next term are listed below:

French Beginners Taster Course
Tuesdays 13:00 – 15:00
Tutor: Veronique Davis
Coursebook: Alter Ego 1 Livre de l’élève + CD by Annie Berthet, Catherine Hugot, Veronique M. Kizirian, Béatrix Sampsonis and Monique Waendendries, (Hachette)

Spanish Beginners Taster Course
Fridays 14:00 – 16:00
Tutor: Esmeralda Frances-Martinez
Coursebook: PRISMA A1+A2 Fusion Nivel Inicial-Libro del Alumno with CD (EDINUMEN), PRISMA A1+A2 Fusion Nivel Inicial – Cuaderno de ejercicos (EDINUMEN)

Mandarin Beginners Taster Course
Wednesdays: 11:00 – 13:00
Tutor: Wendy Che
Coursebook: No coursebook. The tutor will provide photocopied materials.
